BIG SKY QUILTS CLASSES

Registration for classes can be in person, by phone or on-line. You must be paid for a class to receive a class supply list. When you register on-line for a class you will receive a follow up e-mail with the supply list. If you want to use a classroom machine call Big Sky Quilts to reserve a machine and make arrangements to learn how to use the sewing machine. You need be familiar with the sewing machine you are using, including threading the machine and winding a bobbin.

Log Cabin Minky

Billie Veerkamp has designed and published this pattern to ensure advanced beginner quilters can complete the quilt top by the end of class. Learn techniques and tips for working with Minky fabrics to create a stunning quilt top. Skill level for this class is advanced beginner.

Turning Points

A new twist on flying geese in the form of Prairie Points! This speedy project uses simple paper-piecing to make a circle of three-dimensional flying geese.

Tuffet

Learn to create your own upholstered Tuffet in this two-session class! The Tuffet is a lovely upholstered round or square footstool. In addition to the cost of the class, the upholstery kit fee will depend on the kit you select, round or square, with or without feet.

DATES: November 18 and December 2, 2017

Stained Glass Window Hanging

Use the “reverse Applique” technique to create a window hanging that needs no backing, batting, binding or sewing. Hang in a bright window to see the magic.
