How to Install the Guideline Foot
- Raise the Needle: Turn the handwheel toward you to raise the needle to its highest position.
- Raise the Presser Foot: Use the presser foot lifter to raise the foot.
- Remove the Current Foot: Press the black button on the back of the presser foot holder to release the attached foot.
- Attach the Guideline Foot: Align the metal bar on the new foot with the notch on the holder. Lower the presser foot lever until it clips securely into place.
Using the Laser Guidelines
Once the foot is attached, you can utilize the machine's built-in laser projection features for precise sewing:
- Adjustable Length: You can toggle between short, medium, and long line lengths (the longest option extends up to 5.5 inches behind the foot).
- Crosshairs: Use the crosshair projection mode to perfectly pinpoint exactly where your needle will drop.
- 16 Color Options: You can change the laser color to ensure high visibility against whatever fabric color you are using.
- Continuous Sewing: Align the edge of your fabric or seam lines with the projected laser on your fabric or on the foot itself.
