While heavyweight polypropylene works well in intermittent outdoor applications, it may require special care for prolonged or continuous outdoor use to preserve its longevity. This 1½ inch red heavyweight polypropylene has a breaking strength of 1,200lbs(maximum recommended working load 400lbs), an approximate thickness of .06 inches, and a melting point of 330°F.
