Superior metallic thread which is colorfast, withstands fading from UV light and harsh laundering.
Has a polyester core wrapped in rice paper that prevents "kinking" as thread unwinds from the spool.
Runs smoothly through thread pre-tensioners which means fewer thread breaks.
I run this on my Handi Quilter without trouble.
It is generally recommended to begin sewing metallic threads with a new needle.
Recommended needle a size 80/12 metallic needle but if there is fabric damage you can use a 75/11 size metallic needle.
This will ensure that your bobbin thread won't fight for tension with the metallic in the top a lighter bobbin thread will always give way to the top thread
We recommend loosening your top tension (override your automatic tension settings) all the way down to 1.0. Test. Tighten tension as needed.
