Your satisfaction is very important to us. We want you to have a fun and successful shopping experience with us, and will gladly accept your return or exchange if the item is unused and undamaged. Please read the following return policy to ensure your return is able to be accepted.
Returns and exchanges are accepted within 5 business days from when your order is received, so please double-check your order when you receive it!
All shipment are insured and must processed through the carrier, i.e. Fed Ex, Post Office, UPS.
Products not eligible for return include:
Books, patterns and CDs (due to copyright law)
Products returned will automatically be subjected to a 25% restock fee and are subject to manager’s approval.
Refunds will be processed once the product has been received by Big Sky Quilts, Inc. Shipping charges will be refunded only in cases of Big Sky Quilts, Inc. error. To ensure the fullest credit for your return, please contact us at 406-727-1757, 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM Monday thru Friday MST beforehand and we will be happy to work with you on your return or exchange.
Returns will be processed through our Accounts Payable department within 10 working days.
Damaged or Defective Items

Wrong Items or Missing Items

Unfortunately, we are not able to reorder products that we acquired as Special Purchases. When they are gone, they are gone, so if you see something you like, you should act quickly to order it. The good news is that we are receiving new Special Purchase items all the time.
Changes and Cancellations
If you'd like to cancel or change your order, please call Big Sky Quilts, Inc., as soon as possible. We'll do everything we can to accommodate your request if you call us before your order has been processed.
We pride ourselves on getting orders on their way quickly and efficiently, so the sooner you call us, the better. Once your package has left our shop, we can't cancel or change your order.
If you cancel an item that qualified you for a promotion or special deal, you may no longer receive that discount or promotion.
Sewing Machines Returns
If within thirty days of receipt you are not happy with your machine, you may return it for a refund based on the purchase price minus processing fees. The following terms apply on this item.
1. Buyer pays return shipping and insurance. Original shipping charges are not refundable.
The machine must be returned securely packed in the original shipping boxes and materials it was shipped to you.
- The machine must be returned in the original condition it was shipped.
- All items sent with the machine are to be returned with it, the costs of any missing items will be deducted from the refund.
- All returns subjected to a 25% restock fee. Your receipt states this requirement.
- When a machine is returned. It will take 30 days for the date of receipt to recondition, inventory and verify condition or the machine. Your refund will be sent after this time.
- PLEASE NOTE: No returns accepted if part or merchandise has been opened or installed.
